The Annual Elementary Strings Workshop
Hosted by the Emerson-Da Vinci & Harper Jr. High Advanced Orchestras
Directed by Mr. Brucker and Mr. Comarow
This free workshop will give our returning elementary strings students an introduction to the orchestras and the excitement that awaits you at the junior high level. It’s fun, motivating, and musically educational. The afternoon is full of fun new music and wonderful long lasting connections, as you work with 8th and 9th grade orchestra students and Jr. High Orchestra Directors, Greg Brucker and Bob Comaro. The day ends in a high-spirited concert where all participants will have the opportunity to show off their new skills.
The concert starts at 7 PM, and is free to the public. The directors will be available to answer parent and student questions after the concert. Come and have a great time taking your music making to the next level!

Times:
3:00-3:15 PM: Drop-off at Harper Jr. High
3:30 -6:15 PM: Workshop With The Jr. High Students
6:15 PM: Pizza Dinner for All
7 PM: Concert and Question Session For All Families.

FOR ALL ATTENDING STUDENTS:
Please bring your own instrument and accessories. This includes a shoulder rest, Rosin, Endpin stop/strap for cellos and basses, and reusable water bottle.
**Music, folders, pencils, snacks, and T-shirts will be provided by the Orchestra Boosters**
The Elementary Strings Workshop is a free event for all participating elementary families. All Davis community students who have had at least 1 year of string instrument performance (whether through school or privately), that are 4th grade and older, are invited to join us for this free annual workshop.
